中华人民共和国年鉴简介
中华人民共和国年鉴网是忠实记录中国改革开放和建设成就及国家方针政策的唯一综合性国家年鉴网,是为落实中央关于“开展数字化、网络化建设，做好方志资源的整合、共享与开发利用”的有关精神，打造网上国史馆，推进国家史志信息化的建设的具体举措。中国年鉴网通过推出“阅后即定”等新技术，让历史能定时凝固下来，致力为每个行业、地区、单位、个人提供网上与移动历史空间，让每个行业、地区、单位以及个人都有自己的一部史记，都能在历史上写下浓墨重彩的一笔。

１９４０年３月５日，中国新文化运动先驱、著名民主革命家、教育家蔡元培在香港逝世，享年７２岁。蔡元培是浙江绍兴人，１９０２年与章炳麟等发起组织中国教育会，创办爱国学社和爱国女学，宣传民主革命思想。１９１２年任南京临时政府教育总长，１９１７年任北京大学校长，是北京大学创始人之一。他积极支持新文化运动，使北大成为新文化运动的中心，后任中央研究院院长。１９３２年与宋庆龄、鲁迅等组织“中国民权保障同盟”，保护和营救了大批共产党员和爱国人士。毛泽东称他是“人世楷模，学界泰斗”。
